| Hello all, These are the first lycaenidae sp of the year and these days I found some new colonies. This image was captured late evening at 20:55 PM on a very cloudy day.I decided to use a remote flash a few meters away, just to punch up the contrast and create the rim light around the subject.Also the slow sutther speed helps to reveal more details around the butterfly. Hello Remus,
phantastic light, beautiful actor/actress and great small insight in the animals environment - I like it. The parts of the sun could be bigger, in my opinion, or left completely aside the image. As you show it here, my eyes try to either see more of it, or try to "ignore" it. Just my two cents, perhaps you have another frame which you chose?

auch mir gefällt Dein Bild sehr gut, besonders wegen der vielen schemenhaften Details im HG.
Ich überlege, ob es nicht noch besser wirken würde, wenn man oben die hellen Bereiche beschneidet und gleichfalls dann auch li ein Stückchen weg ....der Falter würde vielleicht noch besser zur Geltung kommen, als er es so schon tut ... nur eine Idee.
